Caring for your quilts:

Quilts are great for naps, but they’re also great for backyard picnics and beach days. Bring them along and take comfort in knowing they’re machine washable!

All of our fabrics are pre-washed before they’re stitched together. We only use free and clear detergents as well as fragrance-free wool dryer balls to reduce allergens and irritants for your littles. Pre-washing our fabrics helps prevents color-bleed and major shrinkage but it’s natural for your quilt to “crinkle” after its first wash. This is normal and part of the quilted charm.

Machine Wash Instructions

Wash on a regular cycle setting in cold or warm water

Dry on a low or tumble setting

Warm iron or cotton setting as necessary

First Wash

Quilts with dark or heavily saturated color may need a Shout or homemade color catcher for their first wash.

Faux Furs & Fleece

Same washing instructions as above

Do not iron directly on furs and fleece. Warm iron can be used on the cotton side.
